Is expected to purchase one-half.
while the county at large Is being
asked to take the remainder. The
quota for the county in money is
11.600, which Is nearly $700 more
than was raised last year. In 1924
the county purchased 4.3 stamps
per capita as. against 2.4 for the
year previous, 2.6 In 1922 and 3.3
In 1921. The state at large last
year averaged 6.8 stamps as com
pared with 6.4 stamps for 1923.

by the Koseburg Woman's club,
and the receipts amounted to $90.
The ladles aid society of the Pres
byterian church was In charge of
the several booths today.

Walnut Loaf Cake
Prepare the Master Recl'e, adding one hnlt nip of
finely chopped wulnuts to the cuke brtMrr brfire

greased loaf cake pan about 45 minutes in a mod
erate oven (350 F ).
Golden Cake
Prepare tlie Master Recipe, using four egc yelks and
one whole egg. Add these wcll-bratm to the creamed
butter and sugar. Bake in a loaf (JM)J F.), or in

Small Fancy Cakes
Prepare the Master Recipe. Pour batter Into a well
greaned. shallow baking pan. Usike fiom IS to 20
minutes. Cool, then cut into fancy shapes and ire.
