Dec. a George Jones, mulatto father of Alice Beatrice Jones, from whom Leonard Kip Khiuelandcr is set-king an annulment of their marriage today created a disturbance in the courtroom when Isaac N. Mills, counsel for Hhlnelander, called Jones a "taxlcab driver" during his summation before the Jury. Leaping to his feet and trembling with auger Jones shouted at Mills: "I'm no taxlcab driver. 1 never was a taxlcab driver." When Lee Parsons David, coun sel for Mrs. Hhlnelander attempted to quiet Jones, the latter protected: "Don't let him say those things about me." ' He finally was prevailed upon to sit down and court was recessed for 15 minutes. Mills today began his second day of summation for the plaintiff by relating how the Jones family had Ignored a warning that the Ku Klux Klan might act against them. Mills said that Leon II. Jacobs,! attorney employed by Hhlnelander's father, hsd warned Mrs. Hhineland er that unless she and her wealthy yonug husband separated, the klan might take action airalnst ber fam ily. This warning was given. Mills said, alter a window in the Jones home had been broken by a stone Ihn wn by an unknown person. Mills d-fended the action of Ja cobs, ejhirh defense counsel, Lee Parsons Davis bad bitterly attacked In his summation for the defense, ' ssying thst Jacobs hsd "merely lost his head. Mills also contlnu i ed his criticism made yesterday against Phillip Rhlnelander, Leon ards Ulhex, (or neglu Um sob, which the lawyer stated was large ly reported for the mistakes made by the young man.
