Lowrle, Division Superin tendent of Plant, of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph com pany, returned to Portland today after spending a short time here on business at the local exchniik'e. Return from Klamath Falls Mrs. William Deardorff and Mrs. Cora Ward have returned from Klamath Falls, where they spent a few day this wevk visit ing. Tbey made the trip by motor. The milk wljl be drawn from the cows by a machine, carried to a clarlfler, then to a cooler, from there to the bottling machine, where It Is capped and placed In the refrigerating room for delivery. A steam boiler will furnish the steam and hot water for cleaning and sterilising. The herd Is composed of good grade and registered Jersey cows, everyone .tested and proven. Resigns Position Chester Endrup. who has been aasl.-lated at Ilarth's Toggery for the past two years, has resigned his position at that place to tske up salesmanship for two or three manufacturing lines. King, paid a fine of 25 In the local Justice court yesterday, following his arrest on a charge of having a dead grouse In his posses sion. Moving to Roseburg Mr. and Mrs. Charles Watson, who have been living on South Myrtle, have sold their place to Mr. Fancher, formerly of Califor nia, and they will live in Rose burg for tire present time. Mr. Fancher is already in possession. Former Theater Owners H Messrs. McFarland and Harrell, former owners of the Antlers and Majestic theaters of this city, now residents of Cottage Grove, were visitors in Roseburg yesterday. They were accompanied by their wives.
