HEW CHAMBER HEAD CAIRO, Egypt, Mar. 23 Former Premier Zagloul Pasha was elect ed president of the Chamber of Deputies in the new Egyptian par liament today, receiving the speech I from the throne, outlining the gov- vuiiuriii b pruiniii. 11 was iuiiu tuated with applause and at the termination there were cheers for the king. The speech reiterated the deep regret felt by the Egyp tian government for the assassina tion of Sir Lee Stack, the Sirdar, and its best hope that his slayers would soon receive their merited punishment. Two wealthy women ' of Los Angeles were instantly killed and three men seriously injured early today when the automobile In w hich they were returning from San Diego crashed into a culvert, overturned and burn ed in Telegraph road near Nor walk, 17 miles east of here. The dead are Mrs. O. H. Miller of Hollywood, 85 years of age, and Mrs. Marjorle Pike Chessman, 27 years of age. Both were wives of brokers here. O. H. Miller, was driving the car, his son, Uwlght Miller, 19, and W. I. Chessman, husband of one of the victims, were seriously hurt.
