The matter of the unification of the great bodies of Methodism wa. freely discussed every day of the Conference and the bedy went on record unanim ously as favoring the proposed plan of unification. This will be voted upon at the Annual Confer ence, next Fall, and it i. hoped that the uuion will be effected. At the close of the session suit able resolutions were adopted rec ognizing the many courttales re ceived by the body during its stay here: especially to the Koseburg New-Review for the splendid pub licity which had so much to do with the success of the under taking. The district conference next year will be held at Coqullle.
