This floated the logs In the boom out Into the river and u pstrea in at a good rate of speed. The mill company put out their lugs and boats and finally sue ceeded in corraUiig the floating logs with their hoomlogs. after which thev were go((en back Into the boom. In the meantime. Mr. Lucas had so recovered that he got home without any great dil l i. ulty and was on to his- job the next day as if not hi tig had ha ppciied.
