House Public Hull. lings Hill ('"mains No Provision for Postnlllco or Site. WASHINGTON, June 20. The failure of the House to get Into the public buildings bill any provision for the new Portland postoflice build ing and cite caused Senator Bourne to get busy today trying to secure an amendment to the bill when it comes from the House. bourne had previously procured the passage through the Senate of a bill appropriating $1,000,000 for a building and $600,000 for a site, un building to be devoted to postal uses only, but Ellis failed to get the Item Into the bill as reported bv tno House committee. Such failure will make It doubly difficult to get the Portland Item in to the bill now and the effort may fail. Even if anything getB In it may be for a site only, the building awaiting future action. YOU CAN CURE THAT BACKACHE, Pal 11 alout! the back, dizziness, lu-ndaclio unit tnmTtil languor.
