Gibler, a well known resi dent of thiB city, died at bicwnsvllle, l.lnn county, last Sniuruay, Oct. 17, 1908, from the effects of a stroke of paralysis sustained on the pre ceding Thursday night. His wife was with him tit the timo of his death. she huvlng left here Friday morning upon receipt of word by telephone Informing her of Mr. Gibler's illness. The remains aro expected to arrive here on the local train this evening. Mr. Gibler was about G5 years of age. During his 20 years residence in Roseburg he followed alternately the trades of a mason, plasterer nnd shoemaker. Besides his wife, ho Is survived by two daughters and three sons.
