In 1900 the vote on Milt measure was; Yen, li 0,902; no, -i 7.0V & ; majority against, 10,1711. The vote in 11)08 was: Yes, 3U,8G8; no, 58,070; majority agaliiHt, 21,812. The vote on the unlveiHlty appro priation was: Yes, 44,104; no, 40, 33"; majority for, 3.G19. The ar M '!' appropriation was defeated by a v to of 33.507 to 54,848. The free ; s bill was repudiated by a vote of Zi 81. 6 to 59.406, a majority of 30. j"0, or more than 2 to 1.
