The recent chapter of local accidents was enlarged Tuesday afternoon by the addition of two more casualties, both of which were broken left arms. "Dee" Mathews, 1'Wyear old son of R. U. Mathews, while playing in the court yard fell and broke the outer bone of of the forearm, about an inch from the wrist. Dr. Twitchell set the bone and the lad now waits recovery, which will require about a month's time. The other unfortunate was Mrs. Wm. Lum beek. an elderly lady, who regies with her husband on the "Dick" Chapman pla'-a at Glide. She fell from a wagon, breaking both bruits of the forearm and dislocating the wrist.
