Suently cure people of disease after the octors have given thera up. If the disease comes from overwork, dissipa tion or exposure, causing weak and watery blood and loss of flesh and strength, we have the one sure remedy in Dr. Gunn's Blood and Nerve Tonic. These tablets taken with meals turn the food into rich red blood, making strong, steady nerves, and increasing the strength, building up solid llesh at the rate of 1 to 3 lbs per week. This means health. For nervous prostra tion, loss of memory, or a pale, sallow complexion, a better remedy was never made. Doctors know nothing about this remedy only the fact that we make cures; as we have been doing this for twenty years we know our method to be the right one. Druggists sell Dr. Gunn's Blood and Nerve Tonlo for 75c per box, or 3 boxes for 2, or sent by mail on receipt of price. Write us for a pamphlet telling all about this great medicine. Nearly every pound of freight shipped by jobbers from eastern or middle eastern points to the Pacific coast is affected by the advance in commodity rates put into effect yesterday by the western rail roads and their eastern connections. The lines making the advance are tbe Southern Pacific, Union Pacific, Great. Northern, Burlington, Northern Paol fic and Canadian Pacific. The Increase averages 1" per cent. Merchants and shippers are under stood to be very much aggrieved be cause they dn not consider that they were granted sufilcient opportunity to adjust their business to the changes consequent upon the advance in rates. The first reliable information they had was cenveyed in copies of the new tariffs. Some of the more Important commodities affected by the new tariff are machinery, structural Iron and Bteel, sewing machines, agricultural implements and canned goods. Coincident with these advances are new regulations for handling livestock. Shippers of poultry hereafter will be required to pay for the transportation of every man sent with shipments and those who accompany cattle shipments will not be granted return transporta tion. Kvery product of the creamery will be sup plied from this plant. It Is to be es tablished by the Hazel wood Creamery Company, which now has plants oper ating in Spokane, Lincoln, Tope k a and Sioux City. The plant In Sioux City is the largest In the world. The Hey wood building, on Fourth and Oak streets, has been leased by the company and wilt be fitted for the local plant. Tbe lease was closed yesterday and the work of fitting tbe building for the reception of the machinery will commence at once. It Is expected that the plant will be ready for opera tion by March 1. It will hare a capac ity of 20,000 pounds of butter a day at first, but the machinery will be so In stalled that It may be Increased to 40,- 000 pounds at any time that tne demand warrants, The dairy possibilities afforded by the grass-covered country of Oregon have attracted the attention of the pro moters of the company. They believe there is a great field here for the pro duction of dairy articles and that the establishment of a creamery will stim ulate this Industry until there will be sufilcient cream produced in the state to supply one of the largest plants In the world.
