Thursday Children Free films for children of all ages at the Springfield Public Library features "Peter and the Wolf" and "Andy and the Lion" at 3:30 pm. Meetings Intervention: Helping the problem drinker seek treatment. This is aimed at friends and/or family members with problem drinkers. Speakers from the following groups will speak: Serenity Lane, Raleigh Hills, Lane County Council on Alco holism, Sacred Heart, Al-Anon and AlAteen. Donations will be accept ed. New rules governing licensing and use of bicycles on UO campus will be topic of a public hearing at 3 pm in EMU Room 101. Under the new rules, all faculty, staff and students who use bicycles on campus must register them with the Office of Public Safety and attach a univer sity-issued license registration tag to the bike. Copies of the new rules are available for public inspection at President's office, 110 Johnson Hall, ASUO, and the reference desk of the UO library. A total of $5,000 is available to recognize outstanding artists and to advance film and video as signi ficant art forms. Projects should be completed by Dec. 1983. A silent auction of more than 60 photographic prints is being held now through Dec 12 by the Photo graphy at Oregon Gallery at the UO Museum of Art. Kath Works, a team teaching Arica programs for the whole per son, is offering holiday gift cer tificates for their upcoming couples workshop, "The Couple for Evolu tion."
