John Moseley, director, UO Chemical Physics Institute, will speak on present and future applica tions of the laser, last of the UO Forum Lecture Series this fall, 8 pm, free, Eugene Conference Center. Coneert Musie Richard Smith will present a guitar recital at 10 pm at Jo Federigo’s. This free program will include num bers by Victor Young, John Col trane, Denny Zietland, as well as some of Smith's own compositions. Rhoda Ondeng, a music student at the University of Oregon will sing at First Baptist Church in a concert to benefit her final year of study. A series of such concerts in Nairobi helped pay for her current year's study. The performance of art songs and romantic and baroque music will include musk of her native cul ture.
