Some few years ago the company removed tho trestle work from tho lake and mado a partial fill of gravel, which has not yet solved tho difficulty. Tho lowest part of the fill In the lake will now be raised six feot. When the partial fill was made a few years ago the gravel used dropped from sight ovor ouo night, which caused tlie wa ter to rlso ou each side of tho right of way.
