Reports from Montana give a deplorable account of the great loss among stock in that re gion. It is stated that the loss will be something like 75 per cent, and isspread over a wido region of country. Last fall was dry, and consequently the grass was short almost a failure. Follow ing this came a very severe winter, nearly arctic in its severity, which found the cattle in a vory poor condition to weather the blast. Deep snows and cold, pitiless rain and sleet storms swept over the whole country, and the poor stock had no alternative left but to suc cumb. In many sections, espe cially those timbered, the snow reached a depth of twelve feet. Through this the cattle helplessly (loundered, until overcome by hunger, weakness and cold they sank down and died literally in heaps. Since the thaw came, and the vast masses of snow have com menced to disappear, the great losses to stock is beginning to be realized by raisers and ranchmen. cvWvoc. I have tried a number ot physician, but without receiving any permanent benefit. Among the number were one or two speclaliitj. The medicine they applied was like fire to tho sore, causing Intense pain. I saw a statement In the papew telling what S. S. S. had done for others similarly afflicted. I procured soma ot once. Berorc I had used the second bottle the neighbors could notice that my cancer was healing up. My general health had been bad for two or three years Ihad a hacking cough and spit blood continually. I had a severe pain In my breast. After taking six bottles or S. S. S. my cough left me and I grew stouter than I had been for several years. My cancer has healed over all but a little spot about tho siza ot a half dime, and it is rapidly disappear ing. I would advise every one with cancer to give S.S.S. a fair trial. Mrs. NANCY J.
