Phone 283 Scout With General Pershing Gives Glimpse Into Soldier Life In Mexico Tack Boyd, now serving as scout in General Pershing's army, has written a letter to his niece, Miss Helen Huber, of this city, giving some interesting sidelights of conditions in that region in Mexico in which the punitive expedi tion is now operating. The letter was written June " at Namiiptipa and reads in part as fol lows: ''We have had a dusty, windy, time' of it. .More dust than I have seen in all my life. It is very dry.
