Tho club was first proposed us a sido issue of the Knglish class, but as n sufficient number could not ho secured in it the membership list was made ti include students ol' all classes. Tho "Courtship of Miles Ntnndis.li" will be tho first work to bo studied. One-half of tho class, who me more ad vanced, will study tho subject selected from a purely dramatic viewpoint, the remaining members to devoto their time and efforts to special reports. Tho lit erary value, staging, acting and general effect of tho presentations, with which they aro familiar, will be discussed, the principal ideu of the club to be tn bet ter understand nnd discern the good from the bud in the drama. Later, it is expected that the club will e,ivo some public entertainments, at which time the results of their ef forts will hi demonstrated.
