unanimous approval of tho people of
their part of the city. Tho event is to
be a "homecoming" of the older tinn
touchers and pupils of the (I rant sellout,
formerly known as the Ninth Knlem

its kind ever given in Hnlom. Over tw

this event, which takes place Friil-iy

Mao llnpkins, of the Knglish depart

but tiio number of applicants grently
exceeds this, so that only those with
particular dramatic ability -will bo ac

as n sufficient number could not ho

made ti include students ol' all classes.
Tho "Courtship of Miles Ntnndis.li"
will be tho first work to bo studied.
One-half of tho class, who me more ad

from a purely dramatic viewpoint, the
remaining members to devoto their time
and efforts to special reports. Tho lit

effect of tho presentations, with which
they aro familiar, will be discussed, the
principal ideu of the club to be tn bet

from the bud in the drama.
Later, it is expected that the club
will e,ivo some public entertainments,
at which time the results of their ef

A dramatic organization at this time
fills a long felt want, anil it is hoped
that it" will materialize success! ully.
