McNary for re-election to the supreme bench. The new club is to be called the "Portland-Willafriette McNary for Re-Election. " The Port land lawyers are solid for Judge Mc Nary, having broken into the legal world while the supreme justice was then dean of the Willamette law school here. They intend to canvass the whole county of Multnomah for the popular jurist, and will bIbo call upon their old brother Btudents who are now practicing law in various parts, of the state. Judge McNary is well known throughout the stato, and there is prob ably not a county in Oregon in which j there is not a lawyer who graduated from the local law department.
