THE IMPORTANCE OF SMALL THINGS.

The total receipts of the city during

The Oregon Horticultural society, in
session in Portland recently, voiced its
objection to any interference with fruit
canneries by the state welfare commis
sion. It also selected Mecford as the
place of meeting in 1914.,

Wool growers in tho Northwest have

sity of Washington, with four times as

dents and half the number of books.
