The members of the Salvation Army are busily engaged th's after noon In the distribution of Christmas presents among the poor of the city, and when their labors shall havo Ween completed over 30 families will have been provided for in the way of Chr'stmas gifts, and will be able on Christmas day to enjoy a good Christmas dinnqr. This distribution of Christmas pres o'nts among the poor of the cities, and providing them with a Chr'stmas dinner is a custom that "has been pursued by the army for years, and in no city where it maintains a bar racks are the poor permitted to spend Christmas without becoming the cipient of some kind of a gift, and ueing supplied with a good dinner. With the view of supplying the poor of th's city, the members of the army of the local post some time ago commenced the work of securing articles of wearing apparel and pro visions. The merchants and citizens of the city have been liberal in their donations in both money and pro visions, and the army will havo an ample supply for all the cases which have come to the knowledge of its members.' i Over 30 cases of indigency have been reported to the army, and tho members were busy all afternoon in delivering thte supplies to them, and before Chrstmas eve will havo been ushered in each family will have been Provided with articles of wiring apparel, also a basket full to the brim with good things to eat. Owing to tho fact that the Sunday school class of the army is small, it was decided this year not to celebrate XMAS C ES Christmas with a Christmas tree and the carbo-hydrates of bread, rice, po exerclses. but to let the children ' tatoes, etc., so that tho system is spend it quietly at their homes or at some 01 me cnurcues in me cuy, which have mado preparations for the celebration of the event. Love, pathos, troachory an,d re tribution, with a final happy out come are the main olemontB of "In Wyoming," a breezy, Ideallc comody drama of tho Northwest, which will appear at the Grand Opora House, Friday night, December 24. The story Is ono of nbsorb'ng Interest, interpreted by a large first class company, and mounted with realis tic stage settings and elaborate cos tumes. Tho play is in four acts, and comprises a bright sunny sum mer on a ranch noar Casper, Wyom ing. Tho play Is freo from exagger ated and imposs'ble nonsense, such as abounds only too often in west ern plays. There Is bo much good In "In Wyoming" that on one wonders at the extraordinary success which the ploco has onjoyed. It is all clean and wholosome. Its atmos phere is refreshing and there Is nothing suggest' ve in the story. It unfolds. Seat sales start tomorrow morning at 9 o'clook. THE INDIGESTION OF GROWING CHILDREN Weak, Sickly and EiniuicJpnteu Hoys mul Girls Vsunlly Victims of Chronic Dyspepsia. uuring tno developmental, or growing period of life, the stomach is under greater strain than in an other epoch, for the reason that b0(?n: erowth is rap'd n children, jjjjfl gyg system requires a consider able amount of material, to construct new tissue a much greater amount than after full growth has been at tained. In tho adult, all that is required is a sufficient quantity of food to rebuild tho worn-out old tissues, but in children, an extra amount of well-digested nutritious food is nec essary to build up strong muscle, bone, cartilage, teeth, nerve, blood and brain. Well-fed children with strong di gest'ons, invariably grow to bo large, powerful, healthy men and women, with sound minds and sound bodies; While children who are sickly, nervous, peevish, irrita ble, and continually "tired-out," are nearly always victims of Indigestion, and never atttain their full growth, or an average amount of strength. re-junless tho stomach weakness is cured before reaching adult life, During the adolescent, or forma tive period of life, parents should make every effort to build up their clfldren, so that good health, a strong constitution, and an abun dance of vim, vigor, vitality nnd energy may be an inheritance in la ter years. Too often tho mistake 13 made of attempting to build up tho bod'es of weak, sickly children by dosing them with nerve and blood tonics, or the emulsion of cod liver oil, which tend to upset the stomach and thus make matters worse. STUAuT'S DYSPEPSIA TABLETS will build up and strengthen weak, sickly, under-developed and slow growing children, by digesting their food thoroughly and assisting in its absorption and assimilation. They digest food of every kind very com pletely, including the vitalizing al bumen of eggs, the fibrin of meats. the casein of milk and cheese, and 'supplied with all the material which is essential to construct lame bone. heavy muscle, strong nerves, a well developed brain, rich, red blood, and plenty of sound, healthy flesh, pro ducing broad shoulders and a goodly noignt ana general development. If you desine to havo your chil dren grow up big, strong, healthy and powerful in mind and body, see mat their digestion is kept strong and efficient, and if found weak, civo them Stuart's Dyspepcla Tablets af ter each meal, in order that they may get the full benefit of the food they eat, and you will bo rewarded by seeing them attain a far better than average development, and be sides you may be saved many doctor's bill.
