To Set Aside a Deed. Hoefer & Zorn, through their attor ney, Mr. Bingham, today filed and ar gued before Judge Galloway a demur rer and motion in the snit'of Eldridge vs. Hoefer & Zorn ' and David M. Keene. , Hoefer & Zorn held a deed for soma property in the northern end of the county, but Eldridge alleges that the deed they bold is merely a mortgage. Tho property was sold by Mrs. Eld ridge while she was administrator of the cstnto of her husband, and tho son alleges that she oottld only sell her dower interest. The" property U valued at $42,000, ami Mr. Eidridge wishes to redeem it nt $1-1,000, the priee paid for it by the defendants. Mr. Salisbury left here ia IStil) to accept a position at the Heeta Head light house. He served five years as seeoud assistant keeper, two years as first assistant, and has now been promoted to the position of keeper at the light house on destruction island, to wfcleh place he is now traveling.
