Woodshed was nl- ways open. Did not know thnt I'urdy had any knowledge of the burial of the money on the premises. Did not know the Hamsby boys. McMahon condiKted the ciOHa-exum-Inatlon of .Mrs. Kwing, nnd brought out the fact that Kwlng hud, prior to his death, given I'urdy's father $2000. but wltnoMH stated that did not prejudice her against her groat-nephew. Mrs. Kwlng testified that alio her self burled the money, nil of It 38dO. The money, y.mw in amount, was taken out of the Woodburn bank In 1001. It hud been given me about two mouths hoforo, when I burled It. Mr. Kwlng wiih aged 81 ut the time, nnd was sick, but not so 111 but what he knew what he was doing. I'urdy hnd been to house after monoy hnd been burled. Do not know that Mr. Kw lng ever told I'urdy where tho monoy was, or that I'urdy knew thnt any money wiim hurled there. At the time Kwlng Knve me the money It had been burled, he having transferred Its pos session to me. Husband left no wil Last time I'urdy wna on plnce to my knowledge was about three months be fore husband died. O. A. Did not remember what else Kamahy told me at the time.
