Organized labor in Salem received a strong Impotus Sunday, as tho result of an enthusiastic conferenco of wage- earners, hold in Popular Hall. Tho re sult of tho meeting was tho organiza tion of a local branch of the American Pederatlon of Labor. C. C. Worrick served as chairman of tho meeting. Tho ofllcors are: President, W. E.
