On this peat marsh Lake Labish trestle bridge is built in the manner already described. EEUOVIXG THE WRECKAGE. Work was going on yesterday clearing away the wreckage. The sleepers, tourists' car and three coaches hare all beea hauled out and the wrecked trestle where tbey stood has been removed. Tbe three baggage can, tender and engine are still in a ma-si ve heap of ruin. A side track was being laid to convey the material of the wreck to the north end of the bridge and the building material to its place. It will be some time yet before all the debris can be removed and tbe trestles again rebuilt and trains run over the bridge. AID FROM CHEXAWA. A noble relief went out from Cbe tnawa to aid in every way possible the wounded. As soon an the crash came the Indian boys who well knew what bad happened got their lanterns and hastened to tbe scene and worked like heroes until morn ing in helping to relieve tbe sufler iag. Mrs. McMeekin, Mrs. Mc Bride and tbe teachers to the la-touegavea noble hand of relief. Some of the ladies even took gar ments from their own bodies to make bandagea for the injured.
