S A FAREWELL PARTY. A pleasant farewell party was given Miss Lucy Dencer, at her nome four and a half 4 miles south of this city. Saturday ev ening. MLss Dencer expects soon to 4 leave for Sprague, Washington, whera her brothers reside. The evening, wlch was a very pleasant one and that will be long remembered by. Miss Dencer and her friends, was spent in games, singing anj social converse, after which tables were arranged on the lawn and ice cream and cake was served. Supt. J. H. Acker man, secretary of the board. Is arrang ing a new form for the state certifi cates for teachers. Those provided for teachers In the pajnV were of large size and of such a quallity of paper that the folding of the same would. In a short time destroy the documents, and the department was compelled.
