Minnesota will conic to Nyssa after the first of the year to practice medicine. He will join Dr. David W Sarazin in his clinic. Dr. Adams and his wife visited in Nyssa three days last week, and they had the opportunity to visit the hospital and the other doctors in Nyssa, and many towns people. He plans to conduct a General Practice, and his background includes a resi dency in surgerv and neuro surgery. Sunset Valley News SUNSET VALLEY - The Tri-Vallev Extension Unit meeting was held November 5 at the home of Mrs Louella Smith in Nyssa The meeting featured a Twentieth Amu versary partv. a potluck dinner, consisting of heritage foods. and was prepared and recipes shared. Old cook books, and older dishes and articles were brought for display. Mrs. Edna Mac Wimsatt was the honored guest. She has served many years with the Extension groups. A corsage was presented to her Mrs Ira Price. Mrs James Stephen. Community Concert Programs Open Tonight The Malheur Community Concert Association will open its 1975-76 season on Thurs day evening. November 13. with a program of Spanish music and dance by the Paula Moreno Spanish Dance Com pany. The concert will be held at 8:15 p m. in the Ontario High Auditorium. Described as "colorful and exciting" the program will include a large and varied repctoire ranging from Spa nish classical dance and regional folk styles to the dramatic flamenco of Anda lucia. Speaker Opposes Equal Rights Law Mary Helm is on tour ol Southern Idaho expressing strong opposition to the Equal Rights Ammendment to the Federal Constitution. She is convinced the Amend ment will do nothing to benefit women in Idaho. The E R A. Power Grab is not all that it has been cracked up to be according to the Oklahoma State Senator who will be speaking at Nampa High School, Little Theatre, on Monday evening. November 17 at 8 pm. State Senator Mary Helm says, "The E. R A. will mean whatever the U. S. Supreme Court say* it means." Arrested by Malheur Cou nty Sheriff officer* about midnight Tuesday on the lumber company's premises were Eugene Glenn and Ronald Gedenberg. Both ar raigned in Nyssa Justice Court Wednesday. According to investigating officers, there was a broken window which had also been raised at the lumber yard. Officer* were called to the scene. called at the Clyde Bower* home, Friday evening. Don and Janice Bowers, Mark. Brent and David visited Clyde and Nell Bo wers, Saturday afternoon. Clyde and Nell Bowers were guests at a birthday party for their granddaugh ter, Barbara Joan Bowen, at the Don Bowen home in Parma. Barbara is 15 yean old. Tacos, ice cream and birthday cake were served. Mr. and Mrs. Otis Bullard visited Lillian Zittercob in Nyssa. Sundav afternoon. Bertha Matherly was also a visitor.
