Pastor Jerry Evans of Ontario officiated at the single-ring ceremony. Tbe bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Duncan of Adrian and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Foster Sut ton of Ontario. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white empire styled gown of lace over satin with long lily point sleeves. Her floor length veil was of net. She carried a nosegay bouquet of lavender and white carnations. For some thing old, the bride wore a Hometown News NEWS beaded cross with the Lords Prayer in the class center which belonged to her grandmother, Mrs. Davie Bonner. Lecturer Marguerite Moss called on Secretary Lois Boenig for the program. All members participated m a numbers game. Clara Price and Astrid Stephen gave short readings and a trio composed of Don Somer, Ernie Metcalf and Frank Sherwood entertained the group with a parody on "My Bonnie Lies” complete with gestures. Refreshments were served by Polly Holub and Laura Ward. They reported that the desert was really beautiful and in full bloom due to the unusual heavy rainfall this year. • • ♦ Sunday callers at the Bus ter Talbot home were Mrs. LaVone Culbertson, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Hicks and girls, Larry Culbertson and Mrs. Talbot's uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Mearl McClure of Boise. • » • Kim Bybee who is stationed at Treasure Island near Oak land, California with the US Navy m the Medics visited his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Bybee March 12 to 15 before returning to California. Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Bvbee returned Monday, March 12 from a 20-day visit in Scotts- dale, Arizona with their son the Gary Bybee family. The day the Bybees arrived, one grand son, Mark was taken to the hos pital with a virus and was in the hospital for most of their visit there. Mrs. Bybee helped care for the rest of the family while Mark's mother spent most of her time with Mark. The Bybees accompanied by their grandson Todd went to the races Mr. and Mrs. Eldred Bowers, Mr. and Mrs. Woody Alstead, Mrs. Stella Moss, Mt . and Mrs. S. P. Bybee, and Mr. and Mrs. D. O. He is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Ellis Martin of Nyssa, who formerly resided in New Ply mouth. Miss Olsen is a senior at New Plymouth High School and is presently employed by the Frostop of Ontario. Her fiance was graduated in 1971 from New Plymouth High School and is employed at the Amal gamated Sugar Company at Nyssa. No wedding date has been set.
