The Big Bend Extension Study Group met Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. Dyre Roberts. Assis ting her were Mrs. Case Visser and Mrs. Verl Bishop. Mrs. Ben Witty gave the lesson, "Chang ing Values of Youth.” There were fourteen ladies and five children attending Mrs. Thelma Kiester of Homedale was an all day guest of Mrs. Edythe Prosser Tues day. Harvey and Dick Bennett drove to Boise Friday to get Leonard Carter at the Veteran’s Hospital and take him to the Caldwell Convalescent Center. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Spearsand family guests Witty. Mrs. Edythe Prosser, Mrs. Harvey Bennett, Mrs. John Packwood, Mrs. la*roy Bennett and Mrs. Verl Bishop attended the Presbyterian Women’s Association at the home of Mrs. Raymond Wilson in Roswell Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Packwood reported on her trip to Church meeting inCalifornia this summer. Mrs. Lee Lovitt went to Boise Wednesday to care for her daughter, Mrs. Mary Hodge, who had undergone surgery re cently. Mrs. Julia Callaham assisted In the Lovitt home while she was away. Mrs. Lovitt returned home Saturday evening and Mrs. Callaham left for Nampa, Sunday. Mrs. Robert Callahan, Nancy and Shane visited Mr. and Mrs. Earl Callaham and family in Jordan Valley, Sunday. They returned home via Succor Creek Canyon road.
