(Bratton) Cook, Fort Lewis, Washington, died Monday morning, August 14, 1972 in Holy Rosary Hos pital in Ontario from injuries received in an accident, August 13. She was born May 18, 1949 in Ontario, Oregon. She married Donald D. Cook. June 16, 1971. Services for Mrs. Ethel S. Hopkins, 87, of Parma, who died August 14, 1972 in a Cald well nursing home, will be con ducted in Parma at the Dakan Funeral Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 17. Thursday (today) by the Rev. Paul Yadon of the United Pentecostal Church. In terment will be at Roswell, Mrs. Hopkins was born July 18,1885, in Jenkins, Mo., and was reared there, She was married Aug. 30, 1903, in Cas sville, Mo., to Alexander J. Hopkins. They moved to Idaho in 1920, and lived in the Cen tral Cove community, southwest of Caldwell, until moving to Roswell in 1923. They moved to a farm north of Parma in 1936, and lived there until Mr. Hopkins retiredfrom farming in 1948, and they moved into Par ma. He died June 6, 1967. She was a lifetime member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are lour sons, Varner, Andy, Albert, and Ro bert Hopkins, all of the Parma area, a daughter Mrs Edith L. Hatch of Mountain Home, a brother, Lon Stubblefield of Cassville, Mo.; 19 grandchil dren, and 23 great-grandchil dren. She was preceded in death by a son, Herman Hop kins.
