Grasmick Charles McConnel and Bride ADRIAN NEWS Honeymoon in British Columbia ADRIAN - Stethane and Bren da Bedegi of Nampa were week end guests in the Vernon Parker home. Grandma Parker and Paul Parker of Ontario were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Parker. Sun day afternoon callers at the Parker home were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Looney of Caldwell, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Preuse, Cald well, Mary Hatt, Bernice Toomb and Mabie Piercy. Mr. and Mrs. William Mar shall of Meridian were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Schafer. The Rev. William Kelley, his wife and son of Pocatello and Harold Solberg of Idaho Falls were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Looney and Mary. Rev. Kelley is to be the leader in the trail camp that Mary will soon attend. David Looney, who had been fishing in Burns, was a Sunday breakfast guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Looney. Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Bob Webster of Ontario and Bobby Jo Sessions were in Adrian calling on friends. Mr. and Mrs. David Ramsdell and daughter of Battle Mountain, Nevada came Friday to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ver non Parker, returning home Sunday. Repeating wedding vows in the First Methodist Church in On tario on Sunday, June 11, 1972 were Joanne Kay Pebbles, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pebbles of Ontario, and William A. Grasmick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Grasmick of Route 2, Parma. Officiating at the 8 p.rn. double-ring ceremony was the Rev. Bob Wallace. The altar was graced with candelabras amid white gladioli, blue del phinium and white daisies. Soloist was Gen Murray accom panied by Gary Lacey. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a gown of satin peau de soie with a high neckline, long puffed sleeves and the skirt flowed gracefully to a full Chapeltrain in back. Both the gown and train were accented with ele gant seed pearl appliques. Her elbow length veil was caught to a satin pill box. She car ried a cascading bouquet of white roses, blue delphinium and carnations. Matron of honor was Mrs. Kim (Cheryl) Shero, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were the Misses Connie Wallingford, Nancy Zupan and Marcy Mori- naga. Their gowns were blue daisy-flocked nylon over blue satin. All bridal attendants carried bouquets of white daisies and blue carnations. Richard Grasmick was best man for his brother. Usher ing the 150 guests were Tom Hislop, Reggie Grasmick and Jerry Coleman. For her daughter’s wedding Mrs. Pebbles wore a blue sleeveless dress and a corsage of white carnations. The bride groom’s mother wore a beige dress with long sleeves and her corsage was of blue carnations. A reception followed in the church social hall. The three tiered white wedding cake was decorated with blue flowersand gold leaves. Assisting at the reception were Mrs. Bill Burt, Mrs. William Grasmick, Mrs. Nola Moyer, and the Misses Dixie Dewey, Lori Bryson and Lynda Towner. The bride is a 1972 graduate of Ontario High School. The groom was graduated from Fruitland High School in 1971 and is currently employed at Grasmick Dairy in Parma. For going away the new Mrs. Grasmick wore an empire style dress of white dacron. Follow ing a wedding trip to Baker the couple are now at home at Route 2, Parma. Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Kim Shero, Don and Chris Pebbles, Mr. and Mrs. George Welberg. Mrs. Miss Nancy Nola Moyer, Zupan, Connie Wallingford and Niki Shook. White carnations and red gladiolas decorated the First Methodist Church in Albany, Oregon June 10, at the 10 a.m. morning marriage of Barbara Louise Bell and Benjamin Charles McConnel. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Orville Coats of the First United Methodist Church in the presence of 75 guests. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Oral Lee Bell of Medford, Oregon and Mr. and Mrs. Ben C. McConnel of rural Ontario. Organ music was furnished by Mrs. Olga Kurtz and Mr. Oscar Bratton was solist. The bride given in marriage by her father, Mr. Bell was attired in a floor-length gown of white cotton eyelet lace fea turing a lace trimmed1 high neck and leg of mutton sleeves with a double row of lace and three rows of lace around the hem of the skirt. Her bridal bouquet was of red garnets, white carnations, and babies breath. Maid of honor was Miss Lora Lee Bell and Miss Eileen McConnel, Miss Rozann Tor rey and Miss Loretta Jean Bell All served as bridesmaids. bridal attendants carried a single red rose and wore floor length gowns of white eyelet over red satin with empire waists and straight skirts. Serving the bridegroom as bestman was Richard Stein brugge; Bob Ure, Kenneth Spitze and Greg Solarz seated the guests. Mrs. Bell, the bride’s mother wore a blue polyester knit street-length dress with white trim and Mrs. McConnel, bride groom’s mother wore a white dress featuring bell sleevesand dark trim. White carnations made up the corsages worn by both mothers. The reception followed in the Church Fellowship Hall with the Ladies Christian Guild assist ing in the arrangements. Miss Laurie Grande and Mrs. Greg Solarz served the three tiered cake which was separated by pillars and decorated in white and red with three bells atop the cake. Miss Katherine Mathews served punch and Miss Tana Powell poured the coffee. Miss Virginia Mathews regis tered the guests in the guest book. Thirty-eight family members and friends attended. Brothers, John Winfred and Fleet Mullins and a sister, Mrs.’ Ray Haugen, (Dona) attended. The W. H. Mullins’ are from Benson, Arizona, Mr. and Mrs. Fleet Mullins from Wilbur, Oregon and Mr. and Mrs. Haugen from San Mateo, Calif. Others attending were Mr. and Mrs. Doran Mullins and family, Ontario, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Patrick Gallagher, and family, West Covina, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Garold Ropp and family, Nyssa, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Toomb and family, Le banon, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Leh man and family, Prineville, Mrs. Gloria Lee and sons, Wei ser, Idaho.
