Add vanilla CAKES; and raisin juice in which soda ">1 1/2 cups flour has been dissolved. Sift dry 1 cup sugar ingredients together and stir 1/4 cup cocoa into creamed mixture. Stir in 1 tsp. soda raisins, oatmeal and nuts. Drop 1/2 tsp. salt from tablespoon 2 inches apart 1 cup water onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 1/3 cup cooking oil at 400 degrees for 8 minutes.
