He was vi siting a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Yeager at the time. Services for Mr. Cottrell will be held Saturday, April 22 at 10 a.m. at the Nyssa Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Glen W. Pe terson. Interment will be at the Nyssa Cemetery under the direction of Lienkaemper Chapel. Mr. Cottrell was born Sep tember 7, 1898. He lived most of his life in Cody, Wyoming where he was employed at the Ohio Oil Company. After his retirement in 1963, he and his wife moved to Nyssa where they built a home on Columbia Ave nue, north of Nyssa. The de ceased was active in the LDS Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou- rene, November 14, 1970. Survivors include three sons, Capt. Russell Cottrell, Nyssa, presently serving with the U.S. Army in Vietnam; Milford Cot trell, Provo, Utah; Melvin Cot trell, Nyssa; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Yeager, Brigham City, Utah; Mrs. Iona McDo well, Walla Walla, Wash.; 25 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
