Mr. and Mrs. Luit Stam at tended a family Easter dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Miller in Big Bend. Others attending were Mr. and Mrs, Gerrit Timmerman and family, Mrs. Frances Timmerman of Ontario and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Stam and family. The Happy Dozen Card Club met Friday afternoon with Agnes Ashcraft. Guest players were Elsie Diven and Myrtle Johnson. Winners were Gnetty Piercy, Sue Ashcraft, Annie VanderOord and Thelma Ham mon. Mr. and Mrs. Arlow Warren I of Richland, Washington and I Mrs. Guy Warren of Turner, I Montana were Monday evening I dinner and overnight guests of I Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Topliff. I Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Brady I of Boise came Saturday and I were overnight guests of her I parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin I Topliff. I Mr. and Mrs. Clint Cham- I berlain of Nyssa were Easter I dinner guests of his parents, I Mr. and Mrs. Leon Chamber- I lain. | Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Me- 1 Kinley and Mrs. Dale Witt were I Easter dinner guests of Mr. and I Mrs. John Fahrenbruch at Me- I Garvins in Caldwell. I Mr. and Mrs. Bill Webb ac- I companied Mr. and Mrs. Geo. I Cartwright to Baker Sunday I morning where they attended the I Easter Service held at the Ma- I sonic Temple, and later had I an Easter breakfast. Also at- I tending was Mr. and Mrs. L. I K. Bullock of Vale. I Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fenn I and their daughter Mrs. Carla I Hall and baby of Milwaukie I visited Mr. and Mrs. Alfred I Simpson Friday evening. I Mrs. Alfred Simpson visited I Mrs. Alzina Salters Monday I evening. Mrs. Salters who has I been staying with her daughter, I Mrs. Eddie Sharp at Notus re- I turned home March 24 and is I much improved. I Saturday Mrs. Rollo Fenn I was a luncheon guest of Mrs. I Ronnie Ward and children, and I helped them color Easter eggs. I Jed Chamberlain, Alfred I Simpson and son, Johnnie went I to Givens Hot Springs, Friday I on a Scout trip. Joe Robinson I of Kingman Kolony, who is the I Scout Master, and his son I Bruce were also among those I who went on the trip, returning I Saturday evening. I Mrs. Dale Witt visited in the I W. C. Van DeWater home in Big I Bend Friday afternoon. I Mrs. Frankie Worden and I Mrs. Lydia Worden had Easter I dinner at the La Paloma in On- I tario. Mrs. Mary Auker of Big I Bend was a Sunday afternoon I visitor. I remember last JULY? to come nome soon. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lawson of Reno were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Herb Wenke. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Simpson and Terry spent the week of Spring vacation visiting their son, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Simpson at Gresham and their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Holdt and family at Vancouver, Washington. Ray went smelt fishing with Bill Holdt and some of his friends in the river at Vancouver. Ray and the group got 60 pounds of smelt. Tues day evening Mr. and Mrs. Ray Simpson and Raymond Simpson were guests of honor at a birth day dinner at the Bill Holdt Mrs. W. A. Beck and Donald from Brooks Alberta, Canada were dinner guests of Mrs. Marie Moore. Mrs. Marie Moore called on Mrs. Grace Day in Adnan Fri day afternoon. Mrs. Marie Moore was an Easter dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. K. I. Peterson in Adrian. Other guests were Mrs. Edna Cowling, and Mr. and Mrs. Mervil Hutchinson and girls of Nyssa. Mr. and Mrs. Herb Wenke went to the Veterans Hospital in Boise Saturday evening and visited Chester Shaw of King- man Kolony. He had surgery recently and expects to be able Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fenn and their daughter, Mrs. Carla and son Tony of Milwaukie came Thursday and spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Carl Fenn. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Provence of Caldwell were Sunday after noon visitors in the I C. Mc Dermott home. Monday evening March 27, Mrs. Mabie Piercy, Mr. and Mrs. K. I. Mark is in the Navy, going to Electronic school in Vallejo, California and Lorna recently moved there to be with him. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Pratt attended the banquet at the Adrian High School Saturday evening. Their daughter Shelia attended the banquet and the prom which followed.
