On tario and Vale. The normal and emphyse matous lung sections were given as a Christmas Seal service to enhance health education and improved respiratory health. The Malheur County Council of the Eastern Region of OTRDA along with Dennis Savage and Elvin Ballou, Nyssa Junior High School teachers, feel the “real lung” displays will provide an excellent visual educational t<x»l for students and assist in up grading health education studies. The cases are beautifully finished in blond varnished wood with brass hinges so they can be displayed in trophy cases and other conspicuous spots on a year-round basis at the school when not in use for classroom purposes. The lungs are prepared in a manner which will make them available for many years of classroom usage. The lung sections may be re moved when not on display so that students may handle the sections and have a birds-eye- view of NORMAL and EM-»HY- SEMATOUS lungs. The Christmas Seal Campaign is now underway. E veryone is urged to mail their private contribution in answer to their Christmas Seal letter mailedliy OTRDA to homes in eastern Oregon in November of this year. If you have not received Christmas Seals in the mail and would like to have some seals sent to you. please write or call the Oregon Tulierciilosis and Respiratory Disease Asso- ciation, P.O. Box 847.
