While here they were overnight guests in the homes of her parents, Dr. and Mrs. J.R. Cundall, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Roberts. They visited Mrs. Royce Roberts, Rick and Melanie in Nyssa, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Roberts, Kris and Kelly in Boise and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin So rensen, Larry and Lynn. Mike and Lynda also spent some time vacationing at Shore Lodge in McCall. Thursday, August 19, 1971 WILFORD PETERSON FAMILY REUNION Beginning Sunday, August 8, the children of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Peterson began arri ving at their home on North Fourth Street. Frank and Elaine Anderson arrived first from San Jose, Calif.; then Leo and An gela Long from Los Altos; fol lowing them were Dr. LaVon and Adrienne Gifford from Page, Arizona. The last to arrive was Avon Anderson from Shel ton, Wash. The group of 33 spent the week in renewing acquaintenship, games, swimming and fishing. Thursday evening a family or ganization of officers was set up at the Maudie Owen's Cafe. Monday evening a “family evening” program was carried out with group singing, instru mental numbers, decalogue and historical experiences. An in vigorating swim was enjoyed by the large company at Starkey Hot Springs, north of Council, followed by a picnic at Ever green Campground. Plans were made to hold the annual affair next summer at Page, Arizona. Kenneth Lorensens Observe Golden Wedding Anniversary Approximately 175 guests called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lorensen on Sun day, August 1, in honor of their Golden Wedding Anniversary. The open house was hosted by their daughters, Mrs. Jean Ek lund of Wapato, Wash., and Mrs. Naomi Parker ofCapitola,Calif. The reception room was de corated with gold and white streamers which extended from a large white bell hung in the center of the room. A white lace tablecloth of rose design covered the cake table. The beautiful four-tiered lemon filled white cake was decorated with white roses and gold leaves and braid, topped with a cluster of gold satin bells. An ar rangement of pastel gladiolas was placed on the table where the guests signed their names in gold in the guest book. A large gold-gilted “50” rested at the bast of the money tree which was decorated with gold roses and ribbon. Misses Harriet and Gloria Lorensen attended the guest book and the gift table. Re freshments were served by the honorees grandaughters. Mrs. Thanks to Friends! Ray Schulthies and family would like to take this oppor tunity to thank all our many friends and relatives for their many acts of kindness, during the fire and loss of our wife and mother.
