Twenty eight of the fifty-four chapters in the state were selected as Keystone Chapters. Homer Brewer, senior, was one of 36 boys in the state selected for the State Farmer Degree, Billy Hamilton won himself honors when he was second high man in the state in judging beef. Johnson; Mer rill Tallman, Billy Hamilton, Don Davis, Bill Case and Homer Brewer. * » * Members of the Nyssa Lions Club received a "land fall” this week, when word was re ceived here that the Amal gamated Sugar Company, through H.A Benning vice pre sident and general manager of the Co., would donate the land on which to build the purposed Nyssa Community Hospital. The Wilson ditch was dammed near the C.P. Lackey residence and fills across the channel to accommodate pipe lines are being made. Some pipe has already been laid and everything indicates that the city will win the race to have the system completed by the time water is needed for lawns and gardens.
