Browning is the head quarters of the Blackfeet In dians and has an excellent museum of the Indian culture. Other than these two items the town really didn’t have a lot to whoop about. We had •X* a motel room that was just barely big enough for us to move in but that was all, but since we were only staying there for the night and had no in tentions of makir.j it our per manent home it was ample. We went to one of the town’s leading restaurants. The wait ress was pleasant and tried her very best to make us happy but had little to work with. Everything was pointing toward a very dreary evening but such was not to be the case. Some folks who were staying at the same motel sat at the adjoining booth and we struck up a conversation. It was a spirited conversation such as, "My but it’s hot”. Ugh, huh do you think it will rain?”. “I dunno but it might.” ”My but it’s hot.” Well we paid our bill and went back to the overheated room. Mrs. Bill Looney and Mary, and Cynthia Neer, visited Wed nesday through Saturday in Sa lem, Ore., with Mr. and Mrs. David Looney and family and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Looney and family. Mr. and Mrs. George Cart wright visited Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Alma Hibbard, in the Caldwell hospital. Visiting this week in the George DeHaven home is their daughter, Mrs. Linda Powell, and baby, Rene, from Ashland. The Wes Walker, Sr., family were Sunday dinner guests of the Chuck Walkers.
