She is from Saratoga, Calif. The following day, the Cleavers and their guests went sightseeing and pic nicking in the Owyhee reser voir area. This was Mrs. Diemer’s first visit to this part of the country. Before boarding a plane Sept. 19, Mrs. Diemer, Mr. and Mrs. Clea ver and Christine, and Shirley Cleaver dined together in Boise. Shirley was granted a leave from her job in the Idaho cap ital city so that she could join them. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Draper left Sept. 21 to enroll at Weber State college in Ogden, Utah. Idaho Power reminded edu cators Wednesday that a color- and - sound slide presentation explaining the generation and delivery of electricity again is available this year for showing in the schools of its service area. Teachers may arrange to ob tain the 22-minute presentation, titled “Your Power System . .. And How It Works,” through their local Idaho Power office. Showings of the presentation, produced early this year, will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. The non-technical presen tation, tells the story of energy generation and delivery in re lation to the area economy. 17-21 at the Steiner home. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jones of Nyssa spent the evening of Sept. 21 visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Walker Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Walker Sr. were Sept. 18 evening dinner guests of their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gayle Martin and family. It was audience-tested before school teachers prior to its release. The presentation is intended to be an audio-visual supple ment to science courses at the junior high and high school level, but also is suitable for use in general instruction. Though primarily designed for school showings, the pre sentation can be adapted to meetings of service clubs and other groups. Home From Hospital Mrs. Ruth Williams left Sat urday morning, Sept. 20 by plane to return to her home in Westminster, Calif., after spending three weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Batt. Mr. Batt was released Sun day from Caldwell Memorial hospital where he had under gone major surgery on Sept. 11. He is reported to be re covering nicely. Service starved?
