EAST SIDE MARKET The Nyssa Jaycees have re ported the following winners in the 1968 Christmas light ing contest for Nyssa and the surrounding rural area. The ‘best decorated church’ award went to St. Bridget's Catholic church on Locust ave- Bue. Within the city limits, the home of the Manuel Defuentes family at 18 E. 4th street took the ‘best outside’ prise, with the Ted Brammer residence at 618 Reece avenue receiving the ‘best inside' award. In the rural area, the ‘best outside’ prize went to the S. P. Bybees, with the Jake Fisch ers receiving the ‘best inside* award. The out-of-town judgesse- lected the winners Sunday even ing, it is reported by Jaycee Project Chairman Phil Sweet and President Alvin Allen. The local Jaycees were sponsors of the annual contest.
