OREGON My Neighbors i í J Washington Gets Oregon Antelope Twenty-one Oregon antelope found a new home in the state of Washington last week through the combined efforts of the Washington Department of Game and the Oregon Game Commission. These pronghorns will be used by the Washington depart f-' ment to start herds in two areas "Doctor is out, he will be in the sagebrush flats in the back at 7:00 P.M. . . . John McKean, chief of game for the Commission, said that the antelope trapping was exceptionally successful. A helicopter was used to drive the animals into a wing trap that was borrowed from Idaho. They were then loaded aboard two trucks for the long haul into Washington. He said that the antelope all appeared to be in good condition. McKean reported that fol lowing the antelope trapping Commission personnel made another successful drive for bighorn sheep at Hart Mountain and drove four more animals into the trap for transplanting on the Sheldon Refuge in northern Nevada.
