McDermott recently received word of the death of a brother-in-law, Lloyd Lykine of Nevada, Iowa. He suc cumbed of a heart attack. Sunday afternoon visitors in the Gene Simpson home were the Richard Fenn and Wesley Walker families, Mrs. Howard Fenn and children. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Gibson were dinner guests last Thursday in the Kenneth Farr home. Rene, Lorna and Kathy Hard man recently spent several days at the Jake Borge home while their mother was visiting in Pen dleton. Mr. and Mrs. M. L. If the pan is frequently over heated, a little fat from food bakes into the finish. Eventually enough builds up to impair its non-stick qualities. You can use a plastic mesh pad to clean a non-stick finish, but don't use steel wool or metal scouring pads. The following method should remove discoloration unless the finish is severely darkened. Mix two tablespoons of baking soda with a half cup of liquid chlorine bleach and a cup of water. Boil this mixture in the stained pan for about 10 minutes. Then wash and rinse.
