Past matrons and patrons, dressed in pilgrim attire, put on an addendum, with each one present adding a candle to the chapter birthday cake. Participating past matrons and patrons included Mae Schireman, Betty House, Myrtle Alexander, Pat Marcum, Mildred Renstrom, Marie Holmes, Laura Penrod, Lois Cartwright, Thelma Huffman, Louise Wemick, Pauline Mackey, Bill Schireman, Roy Holmes, Paul Penrod and Ray Huffman. Elsie Diven added a candle for her 44th year as a member of Eastern Star. Traditional birthday refresh ments were served at the close of the meeting by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Penrod. Becky Skoqan Feted With Birthday Party Miss Becky Skogan was hon ored on her 10th birthday anni versary with a recent late-after- noon party in the Ken Lorensen home. Games and the singing of carols, with Mrs. Jack Glaves at the piano, were highlights of Becky’s very first birthday party. Refreshments of turkey sand wiches, potato chips, pickles, cherry punch, birthday cake and ice cream were served by Mrs. Lorensen and the honoree’s moth er, Mrs. Arthur Skogan. Nut cups, filled with mixed nuts, graced the refreshment table and guests received favors of varied-colored combs. In addition to Becky, guests in cluded May Hori, Annette Chapin, Betty Jo Wenke, Jodi Holcomb, Becky Matthews, Debbie Bowers, Tonya Bennett, Bobbi Kurtz, Joy Glaze, Cynthia Osborn, Audrey and Carmen Astoreca, Harriet and Gloria Lorensen, and the hon oree’s sister, Nancy Skogan.
