A STORY WRITTEN by Dion Garner, a student at the Arcadia school plant, pretty well gives a pictorial review of this Thanksgiving scene. "First we dressed up and went to the Nyssa City Gate Journal and had our picture taken. Then we went to the lunch room and Mr. Seward took a picture, then we ate. The pilgrims carried Bibels and said a prayer and poems, then we shot our arows and went back to Arcadia. Four kids got on the horse and the rest got in front of the horse and Mr. Sew ard took a picture of us. The Indains took the lip stick off and then we took our costumes off and more lipstick. P. S. That was the end of the Big Day." Pictured with the young students are Dean Seward, who is practice-teaching in the Arcadia school, and his father, Virgil Seward, a member of the regular faculty.
