Cleta Saunders and Mabel Fox attended the Golden Hour Mis sionary chapter meeting held on Nov. 3 at the home of Dianne Langley. Mrs. Rogers Injured Mrs. Earl Boston was a Nov. 2 overnight guest of her mother, Mrs. Lucy Rogers. The latter was injured in a car accident that evening. Gordon Nichols was a recent overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Nichols. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Simmons and Debbie of Boise were recent afternoon visitors. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Ennor of Pendleton were recent weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fay Col lins. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cahill and daughters of Boise were Nov. 6 dinner guests. Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Fritts visit ed Nov. 6 with Mr. and Mrs. Crosswhite, Mr. and Mrs. Ever ett Fritts at Caldwell. Attend Standal Services Mrs. Nada Cammack of Oak land, Calif., left on Nov. 3 for' her home. She came to attend funeral services for her father, Andrew Standal. Mrs. Winifred Larkins, who was also here for the services, left Nov. 7 for Mon roe, Ore., after visiting for a week with her mother, Mrs. Lulu Standal. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wilson, Marilu and Don, and Marvin Jackson visited Nov. 6 with Mrs. Donna Curtis and girls at Boise. They also called on Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wilson to see their new baby. Mrs. Bob Shippy and children were recent weekend guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Boston. Her husband was deer hunting. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Dibble were Nov. 6 dinner guests of his par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Dibble at Nampa. They were honoring the birthday anniversaries of Mrs. Lloyd Dibble and J. L. Dibble. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sells, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Quinn of Camarillo, Calif., were Oct. 31 dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Tuttle at Notus. They visited the following day with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hawkins at Caldwell and on Nov. 2 picnicked at Silver City. The Quinns left Thursday, Nov. 3, for their home after spending two weeks with the Sells and their relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Brenner of Boise were Nov. 6 visitors in the Fay Collins home. Attend Open House Event Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Pitman and sons of Boise were recent weekend guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pitman. On Nov. 6 they attended the open house event at the Job Corps training center south of Marsing. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kellogg, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Saunders and sons were Nov. 6 evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Williams of rural Nyssa. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Deffer of Nyssa were also dinner guests. Mrs. Dorothy Underwood of ■ Fullerton, Calif., left for her home Nov. t> after visiting for three , weeks with her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Mason and family. Mrs. Jim Correll was surprised Saturday, Nov. 5, when a group , of neighbors called to help her . celebrate a birthday anniversary. Women Serve Dinners Ladies of the Marcia Ball circle i served dinner Nov. 1 for the fam ily of Cecil Leigh in the Nazarene church dining room at Parma. The women also prepared dinner ■ for the family of Andrew Standal Nov. 2. It was served in the I home. Members of Marcia Ball circle will meet today in the Waldo Smalley home. They also elected officers f°r the coming year, with Mrsi. Del bert Cleaver named president. Others chosen are Mrs Ltoyd Cleaver, vice president; Mrs. Edith Whipple, secretary, and Mrs. Glenn Hoffman, treasurer. Unlabeled cans, containing mo I ney were exchanged and the funds will be used to pay for the Dec 8 dinner, at which time club members will select the -East Side’s food of their choice. Prior to adjournment of the Wednesday meeting, refreshments ' were served by Mrs. Draper. Next regular meeting will be in the home of Mrs. Lloyd Clea- I ver.
