RODNEY EDEN The marriage of Patsy Ogura to Rodney Eden was recently an nounced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ogura of Ontario. Miss Ogura wore a three-piece green ensemble and beige access ories for the wedding rites per formed Sept. 3, 1966 in Reno, Nev. The newlyweds are Ontario high school graduates, and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Eden of Ontario. The bride’s father is former manager of the Nyssa bowling lanes, the Sugar Bowl. <S—S PLAN HOLIDAY MEETING Kingman Kolony — Pollyanna club meeting was held last Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Lynn Hurst. Present were 14 members and one guest, Mrs. Agnes Ashcraft. Her three-tier veil of illusion cascaded from a tiara of silk pe tals and pearls, and she carried a bouquet of white carnations and stephanotis, encircling a white orchid. Mrs. Terry Bergman attended her sister as matron of honor and wore a cotillion blue formal gown of empire design. Bridesmaids Carol Clucas, Jan Palmer, Mrs. Jack Clapp and Junior Brides maid Gayle Clucas wore royal blue dresses of identical design to that of the matron of honor. Mary Patricia Earl was flower girl, with her twin brother, Matthew Earl as ring bearer. Cleve Clucas served as best man for his brother; while ushers were the Rev. Rubey; William Van Patten, the bride’s brother; and Terry Bramblet. Guy Earl was junior usher. Soloist Bruce Stabbert sang “Because,” “Walk Hand in Hand” and “The Lord’s Prayer.” He was accompanied by Miss Carolyn Widman. A five-tier wedding cake, top- ped with miniature bride and groom, was cut and served at a reception which followed the ceremony. After a two-day wedding trip, the bridegroom was inducted into the U. S. Army on Oct. 3 at Boise, Idaho. His new wife is staying with his family while he is in basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C. During the business session, I members voted to send $15 to the state hospital at Pendleton to help provide Christmas gifts for patients.
