Leila Far mer was announced as winner of the NHS Betty Crocker award and Mrs. Darwin Jensen gave a program on charm and poise. Also during the meeting, Caren Jack- son gave the spiritual thought, with songs by Linda Ballou. New officers are Cindy Bratton, president; Kathleen McGinley, vice president; Marie Durfee, sec retary; Laurel Beck, treasurer; Diana Okano, corresponding sec retary. Friday Meeting Set For Senior Citizens A meeting of the local Seniun Citizens’ chapter was held Jan. 28 at the Methodist church with table games in progress prior to a noon luncheon. Following the dinner hour, a business meeting was held during which City Manager Fred Koch talked to the group about a hous ing project for senior citizens. Several members of the chapter attended the Jan. 30 JACL bazaar and dined together. The annual event was held at Airport Com munity hall near Ontario. !
