Friday Meeting Set
For Senior Citizens
A meeting of the local Seniun
Citizens’ chapter was held Jan.
28 at the Methodist church with
table games in progress prior to
a noon luncheon.
Following the dinner hour, a
business meeting was held during
which City Manager Fred Koch
talked to the group about a hous
ing project for senior citizens.
Several members of the chapter
attended the Jan. 30 JACL bazaar
and dined together. The annual
event was held at Airport Com
munity hall near Ontario.
! Next Senior Citizens’ meeting
will be at 10:30 a m. Friday, Feb.
11, at Nyssa Methodist church.
