In attendance at the Monday meeting were Mmes. H. O. Hop kins, E. K. Burton, C. M. Pounds, Joe Maughn, Don Lytle, Lloyd Tobler, Herman Towne, Theron Wheeler, Paul Penrod, Louise Heldt, Nellie Powell, Harriet Pen- nie, Ellen Richardson and Mrs. Graham. Next meeting will be held in the home of Mrs. Penrod at 617 North Second street. 4-—4- Duplicate Club Reports Monday Bridge Winners By Helen Hatch mas Benjamin Rust on Thursday, Dec. 26, 1963. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Rust of Nyssa. For the double-ring ceremony performed by LDS Bishop Louis E. Phillips, the bride wore an en semble of pink wool, black ac cessories and a white orchid cor sage. Attending the couple were the bride’s mother and Robert H. Hammon. A reception, honoring the new lyweds, was given Sunday, Dec. 29, in the Walker home with relatives and close friends as guests. The Rusts are presently residing in Nyssa and he is em ployed at the Amalgamated Su gar company refinery. 4*—4* BIG BEND—Mr. and Mrs. Phi lip Hatch and Cindy of Salem ar rived Christmas evening to visit his aunt, Helen Hatch. They were Dec. 26 evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Davis and Steve, visited Mrs. Mary Thomp son, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Thompson. They were guests of his mother, Mrs. Gretchen Stahl in Caldwell on Friday and left Saturday to return home. Mr. and Mrs. Gordie Dickerson, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Unger of Parma, Mr. and Mrs. Bill John son of Vale, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Thompson of La Grande spent Christmas day with Mrs. Mary Thompson. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cartwright spent Christmas eve with their son, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Cart wright and family. They were Christmas day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Cartwright and Clyde Cartwright of Adrian. Rebekah Lodge Plans Tuesday Installation A formal installation ceremony for new officers of Yellow Rose Rebekah lodge will be held at 8 o’clock Tuesday evening, Jan. 14, in the IOOF hall. Marie Van Horn, district deputy president, and her staff from Vale will serve as installing officers of the eve ning.
