Dear Sirs: On behalf of Chief F. E. Petrie of the Nyssa Police department and myself, please accept our sin cere appreciation for the manner in which some three thousand students conducted themselves during your recent “Hootenan ny.” It was a great success. The police chief and two offi cers handled the foot and vehicle traffic and I feel did an excellent job. Yet without the cooperation of the students, their position would have become difficult.
